Tombstone Nails!

Aww these where very fun to do. Splatter nails are always messy and fun to do. That technique I applied to them to match the polish cap of Wet&Wild Fantasy Makers. Obviously I was inspired by the cap for these. When the theme Graveyard came up for Nail Art October came around this is what I envisioned but went another way so I just had to do them. The splatter technique I did with white, gray, and black acrylic paint. Same gray was used for the outline of the tombstone.

Polishes used: NYC "Sidewalkers" & Matte Me Crazy!

For the bows I used red and black acrylic paint, such details where done with a thin brush simply cute!

Checkered Nail Tutorial!

   CURE Checkered Nail Pictorial!
1.) Apply white base polish and let dry completely.
2.) Add two pieces of tape thus creating the checkered look.
3.) Apply polish of your choice over the uncovered squares.
4.) Remove tape carefully.
5.) With a thin brush add the lettering in a lighter color shade of pink and a white or in the colors you have chosen use a lighter version of the polish you use for the checkered look.
6.) Clean any excess polish around the cuticle or around the nail.
7.) Add top coat to seal and protect your design.
NOTE: When using tape lesson learned is to wait till its fully dry. Or suffer the consequences of the tape pulling up your base polish.

Polishes used:
Sally Hansen "White On"
Nail Rock "Pluto Pink"

Lettering: used acrylic paints
